Percy was born in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Cornado High School in Lubbock, TX. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and his MBA from Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. He graduated Cum Laude and was among the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.

After graduation, he went to work for Ford Motor Company, fulfilling several managerial positions and increasing responsibilities over his ten-year tenure. After leaving Ford Motor Company in 1986, he went to work with Hyundai Motor Company in Atlanta, GA and was promoted to General Manager of the Southern Region within six years. In 1995, Percy opened the Southern Region office for Kia Motors America, in Atlanta, GA where he now serves as the Regional Director. The Kia Southern Region office has been the # 1 Region for the pass 13 years and contributes 40% of total sales for Kia Motors America.

Percy and his wife Audree have two adult children and live in Atlanta, GA. He is also an avid golfer and active member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.
